What is a Clinical Aromatherapist?

What is a clinical aromatherapist?

Answer: A person who has received advanced training in the chemical composition of the oils, the therapeutic effects of the chemical components, advanced blending techniques, and safety measures.

I just finished the clinical program last week, April 3, 2015. Yahoo! I received my training as a certified aromatherapist and clinical aromatherapist through Aromahead Institute, which is a NAHA (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy) and IICT (International Institute for Complimentary Therapists) approved educational program.

Although I never liked chemistry class in high school, I have grown to appreciate the amazing chemistry and therapeutic effects that God has created to promote the health of His loved ones – yes, that’s you and me.

RosieMakingProductsWhen people see the term “clinical”, they may assume that clinical aromatherapists can make medical recommendations. This is not the case, since I am not a medical practitioner. However, in blending Oils of Shakan cosmetic and household products, I do take into consideration the chemistry of the oils and the therapeutic properties that can enhance overall heath. For example, you can promote health while studying with the use of our AromaStem essential oil roll-on products: CALM-centrationWise and Awake, or Eleos; or even promote health while freshening the air with our Spice of Life Air Freshener. What a novel concept! I believe it’s a concept that Jesus, wants us to embrace.

Jesus’ love for us is not only demonstrated by His death and resurrection power, but by what He has provided in creation to promote our health. Selah (pause and reflect).
